Peter D Christenson is a biostatistician and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine. He is currently in the Division of Endocrinology and biostatistician for the NIH General Clinical Research Center on the Harbor-UCLA campus. He previously was Director of Biostatistics for the UCLA Center for Vaccine Research and spent 10 years in the Department of Biomathematics. Dr. Christenson received his PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University in 1982 and served as biometrician for the USDA Animal Disease Research Center while in graduate school. He has also been on the faculty of Michigan Techological University and Washington State University.
