Bio:
Dr. Arthur L. Brody is a Professor-in-Residence in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate A.B. degree from Vassar College, M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and psychiatry training at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. Following residency, he did a post-doctoral fellowship in research training funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He currently serves as a grant reviewer on several NIH and Department of Veterans Affairs committees, and is an assistant editor for the journal Addiction. He is also the director of the Greater Los Angeles VA Smoking Cessation Programs and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
