Bio:

Dr Cochran received the MD from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. After internship and a residency in pathology at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow, he undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in tumor immunology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Following a futher period at the University of Glasgow he was recruited as full professor to the Departments of Pathology and Surgery at UCLA . He has served variously as Director of Anatomic Pathology and Director of Surgical Pathology.He currently practices as a surgical pathologist with a special interest in dermatopathology. He has served on many School and Campus committees including a period as co-chair of CAP and is currently a member of Clinical CAP. He is recipient of the School of Medicine Award for Excellence in Education. He is a Member of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and an Associate Member of the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
