Mace Beckson, M.D.

Dr. Beckson is a Board certified addiction and forensic psychiatrist and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. As a member of the Department of Psychiatry's Forensic Faculty, Dr. Beckson teaches forensic psychiatry fellows and psychiatry residents on topics in forensic psychiatry. Dr. Beckson serves as Medical Director of the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit of the VA Medical Center in West Los Angeles. His research interests include the neurotoxic effects of drugs of abuse, particularly cocaine.
